  • Huntsman and bull ant

I saw some images of what looked like a dead Huntsman yesterday so I though I would show our UK viewers some alive ones and throw bull ant in for good measure.

On the dash board of the car. He wanted to come to lunch with my son and me.

While they are fairly harmless, it is a shock to see one run across the dash when you are driving.

I think I prefer to encounter the huntsman rather the bull ant.

Having been bitten multiple times by both bull ants and Huntsmen I will take the Huntsman any day. Bull ants really hurt and they don't let go. They are the only ant I know of that actually attacks people seemingly for fun.

Nice shots. You would probably be treated to a lot of profanity if I found something like that Huntsman in my car while driving.

good series. we get a lot of huntsmen down here. I take them outside as far as I can,
sometimes you find bits of them that the cats have found first.
lots of bull ants too. very aggressive and the stings can be very painful. agony if they get the right spot.
for some reason the silhouette appeals to me most of the spiders
and I like the bull ant too.
      good work
