I found these growing on a dead and rotting tree trunk at Eagleby Wetlands. I couldn't see any leaves but didn't have a good view as they were a metre or more above head height.
I'm no help with botanical items, so all I can offer is 'looks good to my eye - incl the insect as seen in #2'
From the appearance of the white 'fronds' / 'petals' ? vs the bokeh from the background, it seems that you are still enjoying using your beaut long-lens for closeups !
They're just lovely photos Alan. I'm a bit of a flower fan and these are one of the reasons why. Lovely framing and presentation. Then long lenses do great close up shots with good bokeh, as you know.
