    G'day mate

These images look like many of mine ... good shot but the subject / flower seems a bit lost within the frame
fwiw- I find that flower petals easily overexpose and bleach -- so I underexpose by EV -0,7 on many occasions

Could you consider a crop, vertical of the #2 image, RHS flower and show us its beaut colours? I accept that some petals are beyond their best, but the colour is great

    Hope this helps
    Phil

Good colour and attractive flowers Sunny. I like the first one with the flowers clustered together, and think the crop is an improvement for the second.

Thanks Alan. Shooting flowers was not in my agenda but ended up with some.

Lovely looking flowers Sundar! Do you know what they are? With flowers I like to see a darker BG and make the flowers pop, as they are the hero in the shot. Even add a vignette to draw the eye in. The cropped image is a prime candidate for that sort of treatment.

Isac helped to give some oomph factor to the image. Too bad some of the flowers had wilted already.

You're very kind chaps! The vignette is optional of course but can often help to draw the eye to the main subject in floral photography.

nice flowers, but I also felt that they were lost in the frame.
overall the vignette added solves that somewhat.
