  • Native turtles sunbaking on fallen tree

    G'day all

I've never seen the likes of this before ... a bunch of native turtles climb from the waters and sunbake for a while. It was an isolated lagoon rather than a river which might have contributed to the numbers of animals

    As always, feedback welcome

That is a keeper Phil. Lucky you to come across this and also a good decision to have the camera with you. Thanks for sharing!!

Like you I have never seen this before and you are one up on me as now you have seen it with your own eyes.
Would love to be in place to see this as well. But also happy if I don't get the chance to.
      Well done on this.

Thanks fellas .. and yes, it always helps to have the camera handy !
Ralph - there are heaps of things that I have seen via other's eyes--and a small collection (worldly-wise) of things I am happy to share with others

I've never seen that many squeezed together Phil. I sometimes see one or two at a time, but more often, just the splash as one drops back into the water. Well done.
