One-sided Bottlebrush

(Calothamnus quadrifidus)
It's a plant in the myrtle family, Myrtaceae and is endemic to the south-west of Western Australia. Aren't I lucky to have such unique beauty in my own backyard?

#2 - Starting to bloom.

#3 - Bloom appears.

I think I had one of these going in my back yard. But we sold that place so I have no idea if it is still there but it was doing well when we left.

Our native nursery grows so many types of natives and not just ones from our area but from all over our great land.
Sadly we are in a rental now and I am not allowed to put in tree's and shrubs here.
And I love our native's as once established they sort of look after themselves.
