  • African Flowers ?

These shots told me I need to do a little more on other stuff as I am not fully happy with them.
But it was a, I'm going to rain day and the light was horrible on the day, so with that they are okay.
I don't know the real name of them but these are a favourite to take when I see them.

I think they look great Ralph. We have them growing on a lot of verges where I live. I have very similar images in my collection.
The white one is an Osteospermum "Soprano White" African Daisy
The other one is the Osteospermum "Soprano Purple" also African Daisy
Close by we also have a beautiful variety called the "4D Pink" which has a fabulous large centre cluster which looks like mini daisies.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Thanks and I do really think that are one of the best flower to capture.
For my next trick is to try to get them on a full sunlight lite day over the overcast day when I got them

When ever I take shots of flowers on bright sunny days, they don't work out. I have to shade them from the sun to get my best results.
