    Goodness! .... how often does this happen? ... and did the box makers expect to 'lose' several nesting sites?

      Bees will make anything into a hive and these boxes are theirs for the taking. There are quite a few boxes and the bees have taken about 6 or so.
      The city is aware of the issue and I've been told their maintenance guy will remove the hives. BUT that could mean it won't happen real soon.

    There is a message there for box makers Call them "Bee Boxes".
    Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

      Rightly so hans, they should have signs on them so the critters know which ones to inhabit. We also have bat boxes and they have an image of a bat on them, so I suppose a bit of artwork would help on the others too. I have photos of bees and birds they could use.

    Suggestions for signs on the creature boxes at our local lake. The animals will know by the signs, which box to go to!
