Passion fruit flower always spectecular. Is the Duranta a native. I know the leaves are toxic. I like #2 better than #1

Cheers Hans. I love the inticate interwoven complexity of the passionfruit flower.
The berries and leaves of the Duranta are apparently toxic to humans and animals. Lots of birds eat the berries and then spread the seeds all over the place invading areas where it can be hard to control, but still people grow them in their gardens for their hardiness and colour.
If you're out and about and you decide to have a munch on some of the berries, you'll only start vomiting and get diarrhoea and also get a dose of gastro. I'm sure you'll survive! Best to just admire their beauty.

Not sure which one it is John, there's about 400 varieties. I've never seen fruit on it but I think that's because of the pollination process not happening.
