Good collection Isac. The gerbera and dandelion are my favourites.

I have some double gerberas growing here that came from my grandmother's flower garden over 40 years ago. They are tough and hard to kill, which is the only way they could have survived my care for that long.

Thanks Alan. My nan had indestructible gerberas too. They are a beautiful flower.

Thanks Phil. The Tammy at 400mm gives a great bokeh effect and surprisingly it's pretty sharp throughout the whole 18-400 range. Maybe I fluked a goodie.

I think #1 struggles with the saturated reds. I'm in agreement with Alan. The Gerbera and Dandilion for me.

Cheers Hans. Unfortunately the Scarlets are extremely bright red and I thought I dulled it down enough so perhaps more is needed.

    Hi Hans, any better?

No looks dull and lifeless. A quick tart up on a colour selection.. Too far? Thoughts..

Very good thanks Hans. It's brighter than my original??

Shure is. and has more contrast. I think the saturation caused the colours to bleed. I think my lower resolution pic looks sharper and I only worked on the red. I think the bee would like a wash and massage as well.

That was the same problem I was having as you may recall. I quite often see a raw file that looks better than one I have supposedly improved. Keep us informed.

I posted the same image on another forum and it's quite OK. It's obvious that vBulletin is altering the image quality so it's going to have a big bearing on the amount of images I post. Too bad I guess. I'll have a play with my workflow to see if I can get better IQ.
