    G'day all

    Today the common Brown Honeyeater (I think) .... the last Backyard Birds for a while

    NIce shots Phil. The light wasn't helpful, particularly in #2 with the face in shade. They look nice and sharp. Looks like Brown Honeyeater to me too. They are very common around here.

      I do enjoy watching these (and other) delightful birds as they go about their regular activities - and I am very pleased that the camera/s I have these days can easily zoom out and grab a beaut, sharp image

    As Alan mentioned Phil, a bit hot in a few spots but that's the way of it with birds, grab them when you can. You're going to miss the farm life.
