  • Dragonfly

Spotted while I was walking Charlie, it was sitting on a limestone wall. It was gone after I took the shot, so not much planning went in to it.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

    G'day mate

We all manage grab shots as the days go by - and some end up as 'goodies'
I presume that this is from your 18-400 in close-focus mode ... and as such "it ain't half-bad mate"

Thanks Phil. I use the camera most days so the odds are in my favour of getting a few keepers - like you say. Yes the 18-400 is the only lens I use nowadays. I was only about 30cm away from the subject and I'm really pleased with the quality at that distance. At full zoom (400mm) it focuses at 100mm - which is great!
