        The frond was floating just below the surface of the lake (which is only somewhere between knee and waist deep). Put the camera on the tripod, framed the shot, Cropped in post to 5 x 4 rather than 3 x 2 (basically cut blank space off the top). Maybe a minute to shoot and a minute or so to post process excluding a short wait for the ripples from the passing ducks to subside.
        I was p*^^ed off when I took it because as it was really overcast I did not take a CP with me and I think it would have been better with one.

          Thanks for that. I can now see what the image is about. Well spotted and nice technique to get the result. I agree CP's are brilliant for this type of shot.
