    All good like the bee on what looks like lavender. A nice capture. Do you use a close up ring for this?
    Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

      Thanks for that Hans. It is lavender. The City has planted it around the lake. I'm not a fan of the aroma but it does look great. The lens is just my 18-400. I do all my close up photos at 400mm, I can get within 100mm of the subject. It's never off my camera and it's the most versatile all rounder I've ever known. It is equivalent of 28.8mm - 640mm on an APS-C camera.

    Your Callistemons and Lavender is way ahead of ours. Ours show no signs of flowering yet. It's good to see what is coming.

      My Lavender is flowering even the cuttings I made weeks ago are on the way and have buds about to open. Off to hunt slugs with my salt shaker!
