  • The fisherman and his catch-of-the-day

    G'day all

C-19 lockdown relaxed, so I enjoyed a Sunday afternoon walk along the breakwall and came across this fisherman with an audience. The struggle went on for over 10 minutes, his rod bending and straining. Here's what I saw while he was "having fun"

    a) gathering an audience ~ most forgetting 'social distancing'

    b) getting somewhere - maybe close to the end

    c) the last struggle - almost landing the catch - but ...

    d) here is the catch - which he quickly released after cutting the line as close to the fish as possible

    As always, feedback welcome
    Phil

Well caught on both camera and line Phil! Good story as well.

Good he let it go. Can't imagine it being any good to eat, but could be wrong. Well caught Phil.

Some say it tastes a bit like fish and scallops or shark.
