  • Flame Lily

These plants seem to fade away during the winter, and come back with a vengeance once there is some rain.

Flame Lily, or Gloriosa Superba. They are the national flower of Zimbabwe, but also seem to like my garden.

Colours are superb and glorious Ironwood. Good framing too. I'd have a crack at giving it the selective colour treatment using just the flame colours, but that's me - always playing around.

Thanks Isac. The selective colour could have some possibilities . Feel free to give it a go if you are bored

Thanks Ironwood. I just did the main flower - it seemed to be the main subject. It was more a few colours rather than one colour. Just a bit of fun.
