  • Bottle Nosed Dolphin surfing the waves

    G'day all

The other day I came across members of our local dolphin community surfing the incoming waves ~ here's one, believed to be a juvenile

    exif- Panny FZ-2500; 1/1600 x F4,5; ISO-200; lens at 20x zoom / 480mm FF equiv

    As always, feedback welcome
    Phil

I won't mention positive and negative space Phil It's a cracker of an image. you've captured the moment well and it looks like the dolphin is really enjoying it.

How good is it to get that close to such a magnificent animal. Even better that you managed to get a nice picture of it. Fantastic.
Better a full bottle in front of me

            G'day Isac

Pic -1 had less than 'good' space on the RHS whereas pic -2 has better 'good / lead-in' space so the 'try this as a better image' came along
However your qwik-fix looks okay too

You'll have to forgive me Phil, I'm a bit of a stickler for framing shots, whether it's in camera or post. Something I was introduced to a long time ago (especially with moving subjects) so to me it's probably more important than it is to others. They are still fabulous photos
