  • A few from the Lake

    Lovely sunny weather lately so it was off to the lake with the Siggy Bigma.

    #1 - Black Swan. There's only 2 of these at the lake and they will have cygnets in September - hopefully get some pics.

    All great images Isac, #2 & #3 are my pick. Were these taken with the new toy?

    Just a comment on the watermark, and this just my opinion, I think that it is too big and intrudes into the photo too much. Very noticeable on #2, not so much on #1. Maybe just need to soften it a bit for a plain background.

      I used the OLD 7D but will try out the 7D2 next time. Easy to change the WM size.

      I've changed the WM to a more acceptable size, which will be evident in my next series of wonderful photos with the new 7Dii.

    good work on these. light is everything and you been using it here. the hard head is my fav of these, but the coot and blackie not far behind that and the black swan

      Thanks for that Stephen - appreciated. I noticed today that one of the swans was on the nest so we should see the cygnets soon. I'll check every day with camera at hand.
