This slow-moving bloke gave me heaps of time to get down low along his(?) predicted path...

I love these guys. Am used to seeing them with a red dirt backgound so this is different. Nice capture. Focus is spot on. A much more natural pose than this idiot.

      Thanks very much, Todd.
I believe getting down low to their eye level makes a difference, not always practical of course, and in this case, I spent the next 10 minutes plucking prickles from my shirt

      Cheers...

I think getting down low was a good choice for the shot. Perfect framing with positive and negative space just right.

Thanks very much, Isac. Well worth the effort, that's for sure.

It certainly pays to get down to eye level. Well done Gaz, ripper shot. Bloody fast shutter speed too.

Thanks for that, John. Yep, plenty of light around that day and a bit of fiddling in PS to get rid of the 'Hot-spots'

              Cheers...

good shot of this guy, like the low angle, it makes the shot, would have liked to perhaps have seen more light in the eye.

I'll have another look at that processing. I normally brighten the eye...perhaps I've just missed it this time? (stuff happens )

                  Cheers.

is possible that the sun is too high to hit the eyes also. shadows suggest middle bit of the day

Thanks for that, Stephen. The EXIF data is telling me 9:37 but I suspect I hadn't changed for Daylight saving? (Stuff happens...) So yes, you're correct. Cheers.
