        Some Wattle Cap Caterpillers.
Don't touch those spines, I found out the hard way when my finger brushed against one while I was manoeuvring the leaf to get a better shot, they say 3 times more painful than a Wasp sting

Absolutely stunning macro's as usual Brad. That Wattle Cap Caterpillar is a ripper and would make a great subject for an image stacking exercise (as would most of the images here). The trouble is obviously getting him/her to stay still long enough to get all your shots in. Have you tried saying sit, or stay, it works for our dog

                Thanks John.
I tried a handheld focus stack series of shots with the camera on rapid fire, failed miserably.

Agree with GJ, excellent presentation Ironwood. It's easy to see you are developing a great skill in your "Tiny Life" photography. I think you should be publishing these in Hard Cover or even Paperback.
