  • Screech & Shout and muck about

    G'day all

Alongside my campsite at the moment are several radiata pine trees where the cones are fresh and still soft ... thus ideal food for the cockies
So on & off thru the day these fellas come and go, along with heaps of screeching and dancing along the branches

    1) Coming in - lookout below!

    2) Whoops - hope the brakes still work

    3) Missed the runway - going around again

    4) On final approach - coming innnnnnnnnnn !

    As always, feedback welcome

Corellas are a lot of fun. Loads of character. All good shots but I think I like #4 the best. Clean background and great detail in the spread wings.

#2 and #4 for me Phil. Humerous descriptions add a bit of flavour also. Lovely detail and colour. Good fast shutter to freeze that action. I took loads of shots of these guys on a Murray River cruise and the noise was horrendous when there were hundreds of them all trying to settle down in a dead tree. TFS.

Agree #4 the strongest. #2 looks a little dark to me. Maybe just a shadow lift.
