No, not Trout. Some type of Perch, from what I can work out.

An impressive collection of wildlife Brad. All good but #7 is great.

The reference may have gone over a few heads, but that is one CD that has to be played LOUD.
Another great set of wildlife images as usual Brad.

            Thanks Greg and Alan.
Yesterday, found a spot down on the bank where I could sit for about an hour without too much discomfort. I took about 100 shots and culled them down to about 25. I got quite a few of the Kingfishers with a fish in their beak, some fish were a lot bigger than this one, but this image cleaned up the best.

If I could win the lottery, I would buy a D5 and a long fast lens, then I might be able to get them with a higher shutter speed without the flash, it would open up a few more possibilities.
            Cheers, Brad.

Cheers John. I have gotten in trouble more than once from having that Album turned up loud late at night.
              Cheers, Brad.

Great series Ironwood. Patience is a virtue. You seem to have mastered that rig and getting excellent results. I have used a CPL for getting nice clear shots of things underwater (mainly the grandies in the pool), may be worth a look for your fish shots.

Cheers Isac. Thanks for the kind words.
I still have the desire to get much better at this sort of thing. Unlimited time and money would certainly help here, but my undernourished wallet means I will stick with this kit for a bit longer yet.

Great series. I can't go past the first azure kingfisher.

Thanks Todd. That’s my favourite of the day, because of the ruffled feathers and the background effect the ripples on the surface of the water have given.
                Cheers, Brad.
