  • Thebusy bees are out & about

    G'day all

We had a warm-ish & sunny-ish day today after some cold & wet days, so I decided to try out my 'bee-hunting' techniques
I have always found it very hard to catch 'the little blighters' as they move so fast and hover for such a short time ... but I managed a couple of keepers

    1) landen with pollen all over

    2) trying to hang on in the [slight] breeze

    As always feedback welcome
    Phil

Not too bad Phil, missed the second one by a whisker. Is that on a Flowering Gum?

The real challenge of course is to catch them flying past!

Good stuff Phil. I have spent hours at a time trying to catch the little buggers too, not easy but a lot of fun.
      Cheers, Brad.

Yeah fellas ... trying to catch the little buggers ain't ezy ... but obviously "someone who shall remain nameless" has managed to show off his skills
        Well done Greg

Good work Phil, like you say, not easy because they don't play ball. I'm lucky here because they just love ripping apart the magnolia flowers and don't seem to be bothered with a camera stuck in their little faces.
