Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers

We drove up to Toowoomba on Monday to check out the flowers. Magnificent displays despite the extremely dry weather. Here are a few shots. All these people with cameras kept getting in the way.

Stunning to see those colours wigz. Loving the tulips! I don't mind the crowd in the first wide shot, it shows there's great support for the event. Well done. I've just told my son (who lives 2 km away in Toowoomba) to get himself to the show and send me some pics

Same happened to us when we went to Canberra's Floriade ... all these damn people with phone cams & tablet cams pushed in front of the real cameras!! when we were trying to get a whole-field image and they just wanted a happy snap

Very nice, will probably join the hordes at the weekend when the Table Cape tulip farm opens to the public.
