Like the shadows in #2 and the colours in #3 but love everything about #4. That might be a personal thing but that one just speaks to me.

Me too Todd. Captured this on the Anne Beadell at the Len Beadell built airstrip (Emu?) Spent a couple of days walking around the mudflats and took hundreds of images like this. Just kept looking for shapes and forms that caught my eye.

Mud is wonderful stuff, but only when it's dry.

Haha yeah definitely agree there. Wet mud is not something I've ever enjoyed.

The dry mud is my pick of that lot too!

Thanks Greg. I might get stuck into processing a few more of these. The original plan was to create a large collage, maybe 2m x 2m or something like that.

Good stuff Mick, love the detail in 3, and the mud shot looks great. I saw a landscape shot of yours a while back and you mentioned it was taken with a Sigma. I spent quite a few hours researching them, I wouldn't mind trying one of the new Quattro H bodies, but I just can't justify having two systems. I would still want my Nikon for the long lens.
              Cheers, Brad.

Lovely images Mick. The colours in the desert are amazing and the "cheapie" captured it well. About the "dry"mud - I saw a couple of young women (wearing nothing but smiles) wrestling in some "wet" mud way back in time and it didn't bother me one bit.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Very nice Mick, I also like the shadows in the second one and the isolation on the third is great as well, it makes the flower stand out so well against the background. I bet you can't wait for spring to get all the wildflowers in bloom over there.
