      I think the softness is created when uploading to Imgur for some reason as it is sharp and crisp on my PC Monitor.

        Better mate. I'd give Imgur the flick! use PostImage, much easier, no ads, very user friendly! Better still, attach from your computer. Super quick, easy to control.
        After you click "Upload Images", select your images (multiples if needed) and after they upload, select from the sizes available and click on it.
        Give it a go and see if the IQ is different from Imgur.
