    Difficult with a background like that, but certainly sharp enough.

      Should be a very usefull lens. I am sure you will have some great pictures from it.
      Better a full bottle in front of me
      than a full frontal lobotomy.

          Thanks chaps. The BG was crappy but I'm happy with the sharpness. I had the front of the lens about 50cm from the dragonfly at 400mm, so very impressed. It's equivalent to 640mm on my APS-C sensor.
