          I like #2 best of this group with the mist framing the scene. I'm finding them all a bit 'contrasty' though. I think an overall softer look would work better.

            Agreed, It is caused by the intense shadows from the backlighting. Will have a fiddle later.

              That cloud looks quite surreal. Thought it was smoke from a fire.
              They do seem rather bright for misty mornings.

                It is the same with clouds. They look like solid icecream sometimes. That morning light casting lots of shadow and brightening up what it reflects from. Maybe would benefit from a different approach in the post processing.
