Bella here. Charles and Elizabeth thought this was very amusing.

I don't share their mirth. Patting strange dogs is close to emotional abuse, psychological violence. The RSPCA and the AFP, we all know, take a very dim view of of such behaviour.

My people will be contacting your pooches's people in regard to possibly seeking asylum with me and Charles here in the Adelaide Hills.

You have been warned Alan. This must stop.

My indecision is final, I think.

Bella 2 here, thank you for your concern Bella 1. Nice to see your humans enjoying Alan's photo.

Alan is such a dog softie now that he finds it difficult ignoring other dogs, (he even lets them drool over him sometimes - it's just disgusting )

Our beach is so populated with poodles, (10 at last count), that he can't help himself.

But we also think nothing of running up to complete strangers on the beach and expecting them all to pat and pet us and go gaga over our cuteness, (as silly as it seems, it doesn't always happen like that ).

Alan does get a bit cranky with us though for being so friendly all the time.. but we just love love the beach and running and jumping up on people - he needs to chill a bit and talk to those people..and stop collecting sand samples in plastic bags all the time - what is that about?

I suspect that you would never do anything so crass Maybe Charles thinks he has trained you to be more restrained, but I have seen evidence of a rebellious streak in you in a couple of photos he has posted here of you (oops..)

Luckily, he seems ok with you having another small white dog sleep over occasionally - you go girl

Bella 2, Charles is the same. Any little fluffy white dog that comes along, and he's after it. Pathetic. And then I'm obliged to sort the little, or sometimes not so little, runt out. Show them who's the boss. Charles says that I don't have an awareness that I'm only a fairly little dog, and I should leave the big ones alone.

As for greeting strangers, well, they expect it, don't they. When you are the center of the universe, like we are, it's something we are obliged to do. Bit like royalty.
