Just curious, but given the very narrow DOF in this shot, is this the result of combining two shots?
It's just that I noticed that for example, the stems are OOF but each seed pod is sharp.
BTW, I sometimes focus separately on the main flower head in a "flower shot" and again on the stem, and then clone in the stem. Have a look at one of my recent posts here where I did that. Sometimes useful to do when dealing with a very narrow DOF.Charles
My indecision is final, I think.

All the one photo. That difference is I believe, due to looking down towards them. I had wondered the same myself.
