600mm macro?

after the other weeks efforts with oof birds on the 600, I had it in my head that the thing may have been knocked or something and been soft.
anything really to take the blame off me.
I was looking for some static targets in the yard with the 2x on and was shooting pegs or anything but I saw this guy sunning itself so got a few pix.
seems the tc is ok and it was just me that cocked up the flight shots the other week.
you have to use good technique with long focal lenses but it seems I didnt.
