  • Hopper on a log.

While making a coffee in the kitchen, I noticed out the window a Bush Turkey pecking at a Grapefruit under the tree. As I snuck out the door with camera in hand, the click of the screendoor latch made it run for the bush, so as not to waste the trip outside I took a few photos of a Rock Wallaby sitting on the log near the treeline.
This was in between showers, still very overcast. In fact in #2&3 you can see a few raindrops.

    Nikon D7100 & Tamron 150-600.

What a gorgeous specimen Brad .... more than makes up for missing the turkey. How lucky are you to have them nearby.

Yes, they are great to have around. They graze on the lawn every am and pm, they find a cool place to hide in the heat of the day.

That's a great image of the rocky Ironwood. You've got a zoo happening in your very own backyard! Shame about the turkey - keep the camera ready, it may return!

Cheers Isac. Yes, the trouble is those Turkeys keep coming back, they are garden wreckers.

Thanks Alan. I just retuned the focus on this lens, I think it was front focusing slightly, will see how it goes now.

I've got a mate up in NT, he's got two Tamron lenses, 150-600, and 90mm macro, both have failed AF. He's not too happy with them.
