  • Tiger Snake

This fellow should know better! It's almost mid winter in Tassie for God's sake!

Shot taken today at the Arboretum during my lunchtime walk.

Well detailed and fearsome looking, hope you weren't too close to get the shot.

Not much more than a metre. It was pretty docile.

    Nice shots Greg
If he was out and about yesterday ...... that makes me a little concerned about our Monday afternoon stomp through the bush looking for an elusive waterfall. I assumed the snakes would have gone to bed, and was stepping over logs and through long grass without a care

Saw my first tiger in the wild in the VIC High Country almost 2 years ago. I have wanted to see one again since. Gorgeous snakes. Great pics Greg.

Nice shots Greg. Not your every day snap. Showing good detail and framing - colours are great too. The only snake shot I have is of o very angry Dugite rushing towards a group of old people in a nursing home that I was visiting. Absolutely frightening, but still got the shot.
