Bees in the Flowering Gum

Another stroll through the park at our local lake. Spotted the bees buzzing around the flowering gums.

I'm still getting used to this lens, it's a learning process. I also have the Tamron 17-50 and it's very fast and sharp, but this Tammy is a little slower. I'll get the hang of it in time.

Nice timing - top looks a bit bright, or is that just how the flowers look?

Is that with the Tamron?

yes Alan - with the Tammy - and the day was bathed with sunshine. I have adjusted the light and it does look better. I haven't adjusted the micro focus yet, but it's on the agenda.

I think the details in the image are well done.
Pretty subject with added extra interest with those bees.
I would have cropped the top a smidgen so the curving stem isn't on the edge. Just tidies it a bit.

I did crop it! BUT decided to leave it in to show the curve (I guess that's a man's perspective - just gotta show it all!)
