Palm Cove Dog Show here in Cairns.

Hi dog lovers ..
Today was the Palm Cove Dog Show which is four suburbs away ..the locals at Palm Cove organised the dog show with event categories like best dressup, owner looks like dog .. and many others. Many different breeds too. Eve and I took current YAPS puppy called Chaos, a little 4mth old Cattle Dog x. He had a sleepover at our house last weekend to attend a fundraiser and of course this weekend. Matilda loved him but she still likes her alone time and space .. but she was very welcoming to him and he was good with the cats in that he didn't chase them and was more timid and unsure.

Here is a video that a local called Cam Jackson put together and he has a facebook page called Good Morning Cairns. Do check the video. I will upload photos once i get onto it tomorrow but they are only from my phone.

Chaos had his puppy nap during the event. We paid $10 to register Chaos in tthe puppy under 3yo category and he won a ribbon for coming 4th by Anna Simpson, on Flickr

Looks a fun day Anna. It's a dogs life! Great photos. My fav is the black dog with the yellow scarf and the raised ear - it seem to be asking (probably because of the nose) "I beg your pardon?"
