The only shot of this Butterfly that I got, it disappeared when I tried to get a better angle.

Nice shots. I find butterflies very frustrating - as unco-operative as birds.

Good colour light and detail, seems a good sharp lens.

So far I have got mixed results with this lens, but will admit the more I use it the better the results I get.
Poor technique with this combo will yield poor results, but when you get it right the results can be amazing.

Good photo of the rocky and those damn butterflies, photo-bombing your shot of that lovely plant.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Ironwood, a lovely diverse collection of nature images. That wallaby is so adorable.
I am impressed with the clarity and detail of your butterfly on flower shot. I quite like angle, brings something different and you still get to see those magnificent butterfly wings, kind of tells a story too. As for the leaf in front..well...that's another story!!

Excellent result. Long lens are a fantastic piece of kit. I still drag mine around even when setting out to do some landscapes, it's a rare day when it stays in the bag without firing a shot.
