These dingoes are cared for by professionals and volunteers at Kaarakin. When the existing family took over the abandoned wildlife park they discovered a variety of neglected animals and so took it on to nurture and house them so they could show them to visitors - schools etc. for education purposes. It has blossomed into a huge concern, supported by lots of volunteers (of which I am proudly one) who love being there. Having the animals there is great but their main focus is the conservation of the endangered species of Black Cockatoos, Carnaby’s cockatoo (endangered) Calyptorhynchus latirostris, Baudin’s cockatoo (vulnerable) Calyptorhynchus baudinii, and the Forest red-tailed black cockatoo (vulnerable) Calyptorhynchus banksii naso.I Shoot A Canon
