Consolation Prize

I just got home from work and saw 2 Torres Straight Pigeons in one of the Wattle trees near the driveway. I raced inside, took the macro lens off the camera and threw on the Big Tamron 150-600, by the time I got back out there I just got a glimpse of them taking off .
To try and save the day I took a couple of shots of this orchid thats growing on a palm tree beside my house. Not the lens I would normally use for the task but I thought why not.
