Happy New Year to you as well Alan.

These are amazing, can't tell if they are PS'ed or you've done a random gravity check.."Tripped over" either way, it's great viewing.

    Cheers.......

No PS trickery and no glass or strings attached

Showoff! My eyes are turning green with envy. These are amazing. I've never captured one in flight, let alone from this unusual perspective.

          Thanks Gabby.

No need to apologies Gaz - you were right to think there was something not quite right about the photo

I never said the dragonfly was in flight - only taken from below

The clue was in the camera used. The Coolpix is a waterproof camera.

The photo was taken from under water and the dead dragonfly was floating on the surface of our pool.

Some of you may have seen some similar photos of a frog some time ago.

Someone elsewhere picked up on the fact that the legs were not in flight mode.

Maybe I should have saved the photos for April 1st

This was also taken with the Coolpix - he let me get within an inch of his smiling face

So Greg was getting close then? "On glass maybe?"
I don't have a pool, but I'm positive I wouldn't have thought of that. Something different and great idea for a different POV.

That face on the last is a winner.....
