  • Wallabies at dawn

    From just before dawn these guys come down to the beach at Cape Hillsborough a national park just north of Mackay Qld.

        Thanks Gaz and Alan. Didn't even realise about #2 until I uploaded. I had meant to ask when booking out what they were eating. We thought it might be salt and did find another comment via Prof Google that they lick the salt to supplement their diet. It almost looks like someone has scattered corn in #3 but I doubt that would be allowed in a national park and I certainly didn't see anything resembling food when walking there after they hopped back to the headland.

          Nice set,#3 is great,the Wallaby and Joey are perfectly placed.A lot of animals lick rocks or eat dirt to get minerals missing in their diet,maybe that`s what they were doing.

            PPlates the light and scenery along with those cuties make these pretty special.
            Just love the look that the wallaby is giving the other roo in two. Could almost be a wry grin on the roo that's relieving itself.
