Interesting look from the pelican Kevin, nicely timed. Slight halo around the bird though.

I am guessing that the original was dark, and brightened up in post, also assuming a fairly heavy crop. exif shows that this was metered in spot but with the relatively small size of the bird in the frame I think the exposure was fooled into under exposure. very often you need to add exposure compensation to birds on flight to allow for the brightness of the sky.
