Lovely and sharp Kevin. On my monitor both this and your pelican pair seem to have a colour cast.

The strong early morning sun seems to have that effect,correcting in DPP makes it look worse IMO.

Used a curves layer in CS3, selected white point and clicked on the bright white area in the circle. With the 7D I select auto WB and it generally does a reasonable job, sometimes I change from auto to daylight in DPP and that will be very close. A further correction with a curves layer in CS3 either buy clicking auto or using the black/white points will get it spot on. I'm not familiar with the 50D but it should be similar to the 7D Kev.

Thanks Mick,I only have PSE7,tried the colour correction filter in that and it didn`t do much.
