Some might have seen this already floating around the traps .. but I don't think I've posted it in this section.
During Cylcone Ita all the pooches and felines were evacuated from YAPS (Young Animal Protection Society) where I volunteer dog walk. 73 dogs and 40 cats... and the Cairns community took them into their homes for few days. A few of the dogs have been adopted by their foster cares which is awesome.
Sooo we fostered 3 darling kittens, Peaches (in the photo), Ricardo and Violet. We all loved them and had fun with the 5 week old kittens. Our two older cats were disgruntled and kept away.
No we did not keep any. Council laws prevent any more than 2 dogs or 2 cats per household plus .. we don't need more mouths to feed and I can get my puppy and kitten fix at YAPS lol.
Here is hubby with Peaches. To think he was against me bringing home furry ones .. due to our last cat Bailey was a Cyclone Monica kitty fostered and adopted lol.
