  • Frill-necked Lizard

Saw this critter in a neighbour's yard and had plenty of time to get my camera and grab a few frames as it just sat there and patiently waited.

    Gotta love a cooperative model!

The backdrop is a wall about two metres behind the frilly so that gave me a good clean shot with no distractions.

Used the 70-200 and am pleased with the level of detail captured, it's a brilliant lens.

I've had zero success capturing these gorgeous lizards in the wild so was quite thrilled to capture one in suburbia!

Stunning! Fantastic composition, detail and colours. Co-operative models in the animal world are few and far between, you struck gold here.
