  • White-breasted Woodswallows

    A large crop already so I'm not prepared to crop harder.

    I like the colour of the background. It's a riverbank of white sand that's been tinted by pindan soil after a large tide, captured in the late afternoon light. The birds and perch are almost there as decoration (sorta).

    Nice shot Mick .. do like that sandy background. I took a photo of these birds a few weeks back .. they are quite popular over here. They were up on the lamp post and only had my 100mm so the shot wasn't good enough but I took it anyways. I had checked by bird book at the time to see what they were ...
