The Agapanthus have reached full bloom, so I tried again late yesterday with the 300mm - a bee obliged

The play of the light in this photo is wonderful, and is topped off by the bee flying across the bokeh circle in the background that looks like a moon or sun. It is one of those photos my eyes would probably never tire of.
