    I'm prefering the colour version Gabby to be honest. The eye of the rear peli doesn't draw me in as it did in the colour version.

      Hmmm - I was thinking of something a bit more graphic - eg without the water and maybe leave the eye yellow for Mick I might have a play later if that's ok?

        B&W conversions aren't my strong point. Please feel free to do a more graphic one Alan - would love to see what you come up with.

          Thanks Gabby,

          Even though 'Three' is considerd a 'nicer' number - I thought that two birds worked better with the two posts here. Extending one post filled up the empty top area and IMHO balanced it better.

          It's your photo in the end though and the colour one is beautiful

            That makes a much stronger image Alan. I'm assuming you used a selection to replace the background. I'm never happy with my edges - need more practice and rewatch a tutorial on the refine edge me thinks.
