  • Brahminy Kite in flight

    Almost knocked my hat off. A very rare treat to have a raptor fly so close, pretty happy with the end result.

              Great shot Mick,beautiful birds,there are a couple at my fave birding spot,unfortunately they have been way off in the "no go "zone,hoping they`ll take pity on me an come a bit closer one day,.

              I shoot a Canon 90D with a few bits of glass.

                Great shot Mick and lucky you to have one come close. I've only seen them in soaring mode very high or almost equally high in a tree. They are a beautiful bird.

                    I see this bird quite regularly at my prime birding location and it was nice to finally have a chance to capture it.
