    Black-winged Stilt chick

    This little guy was all set to run as there was a Whistling Kite ranging overhead. He did eventually run for the safety of the samphire.

    Good shot and a different angle than I usually see these photographed gives them a totally different look - almost looks like the wind is about to blow him over
