  • Plovers in flight

    Had a wonderful early morning session with a small flock of plovers, I love trying for this style of capture. If this images is visible I'll post a couple more lol! Click image for larger version

    That looks awesome, beautiful background colour and there are quite a few who seem to be looking straight at the camera. I've only ever seen plovers in our parks and they always seem to run away never fly.

                Everything seems to be cruising here and back to normal. Might be me...but there seems to be more activity?

              Great shot Mick. Plovers, aaarrggh - we have one nesting right smack dab in the middle of our block sititng on 3 eggs. There is a $25k fine for shifting it, so I now have builders sitting waiting patiently for them to hatch and move off! They are naturally not my favourite bird!
