  • Boreen Point

Cleaning up old images and I found these and re-processed them. As far as I can tell they haven't been posted before.

These were all from an early morning walk at Boreeen Point on Lake Cootharaba near Noosa, Qld. I used Adobe's auto white balance for some of these which I thought gave a more attractive treatment although perhaps not as realistic.

All with Nikon D800 and Nikkor 16-35 f/4

I agree with all above. Nothing wrong with the colours Alan, they all look pretty natural to me.

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

Thanks Isac. The Adobe auto WB seems consistently warmer than Nikon's but enhances the warm early light in these images.

Oddly, a daylight setting sometimes gives a cooler light than auto in golden hour shots. I often try a couple before tweeking to the final values.

    Hi Alan

I missed these when first posted

I could easily have #3 gracing my lounge room wall .... as a 60" classic print

Thanks Phil. This is my favourite too with the early morning light on the tree roots and branches.
